Youth Open Mic Community Event
WHY
Local Tucson youth approached us and asked if we could give them an opportunity to share their voices, viewpoints, talents, and creativity. We said, YES!
WHO
Youth aged 13-18* in Tucson, you are cordially invited to join us for a very special event to experience and celebrate the special talents and creative projects from your peers, where your voice matters, and we are excited for you to share.
*Under 13 and have parental permission? We look forward to seeing you!
*Over 18? Join as an audience member.
WHAT
Bring your musical talents, spoken word, written works, and visual arts to share in an open-mic style. (Please see the guidelines below.)

GUIDELINES
What We Encourage
• Sharing real stories and emotions
• Different opinions and perspectives
• Music, spoken word, movement, comedy, storytelling, visual arts
• Language that reflects authentic youth culture
• Brave conversations about hard topics

⭐ You are allowed to be honest.
⭐ You are allowed to experiment.
What We Do Not Allow
To keep this space safe for all, performances may not include:
• Hate speech toward any identity group
• Bullying, harassment, or targeting a specific person
• Threats or encouragement of violence
• Slurs or dehumanizing language
• Explicit sexual content involving minors
• Content that glorifies self-harm without care context
