2-Day Songwriting & Recording Experience
for student Artists in Tucson
Have you ever wanted to be part of creating and producing a real song record?

This school break, that dream can come true.
We’re inviting 15 advanced young artists in development (aged 17 and under) to join a very special program hosted at Catalyst Creative Collective for a focused Music Recording Camp where you’ll build a group recording from idea to a published song in just two days
with guidance from music and media executives.

What You’ll Do
Over 2 days (4 hours each day, 1:00–5:00 PM), you’ll work as a team to:

Write – Collaborate to craft original lyrics and melodies

Record – Lay down vocals and instruments in a real studio setting

Produce – Learn the basics of arranging, mixing, and shaping your sound

Brand – Create a band name, look, and story that reflects your vibe
-
Market – Explore simple ways to promote your music and build your audience
-
Publish – Take the final steps to get your song ready to share with the world
-
Perform - Final performance for your parents at the end of camp
You won’t just talk about making music—you’ll actually make and release a song!
Who This Camp Is For
This camp is designed for:

Advanced young artists (17 and under) who are already singing, playing an instrument, writing, or producing

Kids and teens who take their creativity seriously and want to grow

Young people who love collaboration, teamwork, and big ideas

Daily Schedule
2-Day Music Recording Camp, Dates to be announced to those on the interest list first!

Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM each day; final performance at the end of day 2 (5-6pm)

Format: Small-group, hands-on studio experience

Snacks: Kids should bring their own snack each day

Student Artist Drop off/Pickup: Young artists will be signed in and out at Catalyst each day by the legal parent/guardian or an approved (in writing) alternative person.

Parent Education: Yes, parents, you too will be joining us for a limited time each day to learn critical skills to support your young artist(s). We will provide these times closer to the start of camp.

Dress like an artist-- camera-ready, professional, modest, Tucson business casual. (Bring a sweater as it can get cool.)

Cell phones are acceptable; however, if they become a distraction, they will be held until parent pickup and returned to the parent then.

Because this is a special camp program, we are limiting the camp to 15 young artists to keep the experience focused, personalized, and high-quality.
