MEDIA LICENSE, RELEASE & AUTHORIZATION

 

SUMMARY

By signing this form, I understand and agree to the following:

​

(1) Using My (or My Child’s) Image and Voice
I give 7sound & Co. Media Group permission to use my (or my child’s) name, photos, videos, voice, and any recordings made at this event or future projects. They can use this in media, not limited to, shows, ads, websites, social media, and other media, now or in the future.

 

(2) No Approval or Payment
I understand that I will not get to review or approve how these images or recordings are used. I also understand that I will not be paid or receive royalties for their use.

 

(3) 7sound & Co. Media Group Owns the Final Work
Anything created from these recordings belongs fully to 7Sound & Co. They own all rights to the videos, photos, and other materials. If needed, I will help them sign any documents to protect those rights.

 

(4) Keeping Information Private
I agree to keep any private information about the project, recordings, or business details secret and not share them with others.

 

(5) Legal Details
The laws of Arizona govern this agreement. If there are any legal issues, they must be handled in a court in Tucson, Arizona.

FULL-LENGTH LEGAL LANGUAGE AGREEMENT

 

In consideration of the mutual undertakings, covenants, and agreements set forth herein, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the undersigned hereby agrees as follows:

 

(a) Grant of Rights

I hereby grant to 7sound & Co Media Group, LLC, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, marketing firms, legal representatives, and their successors and assigns (collectively, the “Licensee”), a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive license in and to my (or my child’s) name (including any alias, company name, and/or pseudonym), photograph(s), image(s), likeness(es), video or motion picture portrayal(s), voice, and vocal performance(s), whether originals or reproductions, including any modifications or distortions of the same, intentional or otherwise, now or hereafter made, resulting from the recording of, or otherwise related to, this casting call event or any future series, episode, commercial, or other advertisement (the “Licensed Material”).

This license includes the right to use the Licensed Material for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to: advertising, publicity, publishing, illustration, commercial art, promotion, and distribution of any raw or finished product in all media formats now known or developed in the future, including physical, virtual, social, and internet media (the “Product”).

I understand and agree that this permission is permanent and cannot be revoked.

 

(b) Waiver of Rights and Release of Liability

I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the Product or its use, whether known or unknown to me.
I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the Licensed Material or the Product.

I further release the Licensee from any liabilities, claims, or demands, known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Licensed Material or the Product.

(c) Ownership and Intellectual Property

I acknowledge and agree that 7sound & Co Media Group, LLC shall own all right, title, and interest, including all intellectual property rights, in and to the Product, including any related video footage or other instruments of service, free and clear of all encumbrances and liens of any kind.

To the extent that ownership of any intellectual property in the Product does not automatically vest in 7sound & Co Media Group, LLC, I hereby assign and, upon creation, automatically assign to 7sound & Co Media Group, LLC all intellectual property rights, including but not limited to all copyright interests, without any further consideration.

I agree to cooperate with and assist the Licensee, or any designee, in securing any patent, copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property protection for the Product. If I cannot be reached or am unable to sign any necessary document, I hereby irrevocably appoint the Licensee and its officers as my (or my child’s) agent and attorney-in-fact for the purpose of executing such documents.

(d) Confidentiality

I agree to maintain the confidentiality of all confidential and proprietary information related to the Licensed Material and the Product, including but not limited to the creation, content, production, or any confidential business or technical information provided by the Licensee or developed by me (or my child) in connection with the Licensed Material or the Product.

(e) Governing Law and Venue

This license and release shall be governed by the laws and public policies of the State of Arizona.
The exclusive venue for any litigation arising from or related to this agreement shall be the state or federal courts located in Tucson, Arizona, and I consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to venue.

​

(f) Parent/Guardian Consent (Required for Minors)

If this release concerns a minor, I represent and warrant that:

• I am the minor’s parent or legal guardian;

• I have full legal authority to enter into this agreement on the minor’s behalf; and

• All rights, waivers, releases, and assignments in this agreement apply fully to the minor.
